Today’s Hadith
یَسْــٴَـلُوْنَكَ مَا ذَاۤ اُحِلَّ لَهُمْؕ-قُلْ اُحِلَّ لَكُمُ الطَّیِّبٰتُۙ-وَ مَا عَلَّمْتُمْ مِّنَ الْجَوَارِ حِ مُكَلِّبِیْنَ تُعَلِّمُوْنَهُنَّ مِمَّا عَلَّمَكُمُ اللّٰهُ٘-فَكُلُوْا مِمَّاۤ اَمْسَكْنَ عَلَیْكُمْ وَ اذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللّٰهِ عَلَیْهِ۪-وَ اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَؕ-اِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَرِیْعُ الْحِسَابِ(4)
˹Dear Beloved Prophet,˺ they ask you about what was made lawful (ḥalāl ) for them, say, “Pure things have been made lawful for you, and (the prey of) the hunting animal you have trained. You teach them that which Allah taught you, so eat from that which they leave for you, and mention the name of Allah upon them (as you release them);[1] and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Most-Swift in reckoning.”

Today’s Quran Verse
Prohibited for you are carrion, blood, the flesh of swine, those animals which were slaughtered in the name of other than Allah,[1] killed by strangulation, beating, falling, or by being gored ˹by an animal,˺ what is ˹partly˺ eaten by predators, unless hunted and slaughtered by you, and what is sacrificed at the altar. It is unlawful to cast arrows (divination) to seek knowledge of fate. This is transgression. This day, the disbelievers have lost hope concerning your religion. So, do not fear them and fear Me. This day, I have perfected your religion for you, and completed My favour upon you,[2] and chosen Islam for you as a religion.[3] So whosoever is compelled due to extreme hunger and thirst while he is not inclined to sin (he may consume),[4] then indeed Allah is Most-Forgiving, Most-Merciful.
